During grueling combat deployments, movies weren’t just entertainment; they were a vital lifeline that preserved our shared humanity, proving that stories can heal, connect, and sustain us through life’s darkest battles. Every person carries an unseen story built from trauma, endurance, and raw creative drive, yet the legacy film industry routinely silences independent voices. I founded StorieTV to place stories back at the center of human connection, giving overlooked creators the direct platform, audience reach, and engine they need to ensure no narrative is ever left behind.

Alex Carig

Film Acquisitions Director

Mr. Carig is an award-winning feature film director/screenwriter with a degree in Film from San Francisco State University. He also served as a special effects administrative coordinator for Richard Edlund for Boss Film Studios. He managed the special FX budgets for The Hunt for Red October, Ghost, Solar Crisis, Cliffhanger, Alien 3, and The Rocketeer. He worked as a feature production accountant for Edge Innovations on Free Willy, Anaconda, and Deep Blue Sea. He was employed by Producer Gale Anne Hurd’s Pacific Western Productions as a script reader for her development department formerly at Warner Brothers. Former DGA member.
